St. Timothy School History

St. Timothy School is an elementary school of approximately 600 students from Junior Kindergarten to grade eight. The community consists of apartment buildings, townhouses and single family dwellings. The school was originally built in 1962, and it has been an integral part of the local community. The school is utilized most evenings by the community for both adult and youth groups. For four weeks during July and August, Literacy Camp and a Fun Camp are run at the school. PLASP, a before and after school program was implemented in 2001. On September 5, 2006, the St. Timothy School community began a new chapter in its history with the opening and blessing of a new, state-of-the-art school building.
